- Hy and welcome to another cewl Product coded
- by Thorax^Phace...
-
- Yes it's true... with this Proggy you can easily
- make a installation menue for your own CD's...
-
- I. What files are included in thiz Package ??
-
- - MENUE .EXE > the main file
- - PKUNZIP .EXE > yes, it's true... this proggy has to be there...
- - MAKELIST.EXE > A Menue-List-Creator... sorry.. it's under WIN !!
- - FILES .LST > This is the Menue-List MENUE.EXE needs !!
- - MODS\MODFILE1.MOD > \
- - MODS\MODFILE2.MOD > Just three little mods to make the time fine :-))
- - MODS\MODFILE3.MOD > /
- - and some sample zip-files in the FILES-MENUE
-
- II. How to get started...
-
- hmmm i think it's the best you take a look at thiz proggy and start
- therefore the MENUE.EXE....
- After you have seen how it does work let's take a look at the FILES.LST !
- there are the whole files, which are in the menue. you can simply edit
- these list, but however i have also supploed a little proggy (MAKELIST.EXE)
- with witch you can easy handle the files... (the proggy runs only under WIN!)
-
-
- III. What in Hell do i need on my CD ???
-
- You have to make a SUBDIR. (it doesn't matter what the name is...)
- in this Subdir you habe to copy the files: Menue.exe, files.lst,
- all three mod-files and PKUNZIP !!! (important).
- Then in this subdir you have to make another SUBDIR which is called
- FILES. In this Dir there are your Zip-files to install...
-
- After all it has to look like this:
-
- --SAMPLE
- | MENUE.EXE
- | FILES.LST
- | PKUNZIP.EXE
- |
- |-FILES
- | | file.zip (here are your Files !!!)
- | | bla.zip
- | | blabla.zip
- | | ....
- |-MODS
- | Modfile1.mod (You can copy your wanted modfile to this
- | Modfile2.mod directory and rename it to MODFILE1, 2, 3 !
- | Modfile3.mod the proggy plays them random!)
-
- IV. Help...
-
- The best you can do is to depack all the files for a game/proggy
- first (e.g. extreme1.zip, extreme2.zip,..., extreme11.zip) to
- a directory. Then do the twist :-) with the PKZIP and pack the
- whole archive (don't forget the subdirs!). Finally join the
- files to the FILES directury at your CD-ROM....
-
-
- V. Final
-
- ok.. I hope you have understood, what i mean, heheh...
- Great workings and CD-Making.. CU if the future....
